Pros

Bought it for one of those new fancy led mirror medicine cabinets. Worked for hiding a new out let behind a wall mounted tv. I have my tv mounted on a wall that has steel retaining beams in certain spots.

Works as advertised but there are some things of which to be mindful. Used a heavier duty sp receptacle, though. Would recommend.

Cons

The brackets used to secure it to the sheetrock broke instantly. It will only fit on interior walls without insulation. Item is already installed in wall so can’t return it.

The duplex outlet supplied is no longer usable. The outlet uses push connects, which can over time loosen and arc, possibly resulting a fire. Ended up using a leviton outlet.

Amazon only ships one unit (rather than a pair) the return policy has expired. At all. Another price gouge. But these all in one wire boxes i see all over the place are just a big ripoff.

Competitiveness

Its only a backstab version and couldnt accommodate a 12 gauge romex wire

This wouldve meant modifying the mount which of course when hanging a 25lb tv costing 700 not all that smart

Two 120v plugs allow for connection of tv and soundbar while the two usb outlets support a firestick and a chromecast
