Pros & Cons
Pros
All you need is a box cutter for your drywall and a phillips to secure the anchors. Then use the drywall saw to so the rest.
These faceplates are great. Now i have a clean, uncluttered look on the wall where the tv hangs. Now the tv looks professionally mounted.
Extension cord works great for your hdmi cables, etc. Fit 3-hdmi's/1-vga/2-power cables/ 1-ethernet no problem. Don't forget to be mindful of wires in the wall.
Cons
Can't get the bottom one flush agains wall now because of the broken mounting wings. The threads on the mounting braket are full of burs. When you screw the screws it should lock using plastic holders on 2 sides, but mine did not lock for one.
For the cost-conscious there are equally ineffective products that cost a bit less. One good i believe they are fazing out the old design but they continue to distribute the older design and will hopefully deplete this supply soon.
