Pros
It is perfect for a single person, maybe 2 persons. It is easy to operate as long as you know how. The smaller kids love that they can make their own waffles without much hassle. Great item for price.
It cooks one waffle in about 2-3 minutes depending on how done you like it. Make sure to ventilate and consider a ceramic model.
Cons
Waffle maker came broken. The cord was everywhere (not wrapped up) the plastic top heats up from the element beneath it, causing plastic to become brittle. This is a major safety issue as it exposes the element on top, and you can't open it anymore wi... Read More
Not worth the hassle to drive 45 mins to the nearest town to return. If you are on a diet and only preparing two small waffles, then this unit is ok. I highly doubt anyone even bother to check this returned item.

Its difficult to fully clean because you can just clean with a wet cloth so over time there was a lot of grime
