I had never had any experience with the dare products although they make a wide variety of fencing materials and chargers however i was specifically looking for a unit with enough 34pep34 to keep miniature horses in line without the danger of permanently hurting my pets if they touched it

The other thing i liked about this unit is that it has a cord many manufacturers are now eliminating the cord and simply putting prongs in the back for you to plug them directly in an electrical outlet

Even though the de 60 is completely sealed again another reason i prefer the corded model it is not waterproof so you have to make a weather resistant cover for it
