Works as advertised. Opens and closes like a charm.
Long enough to fit even though we had to fir out our wall and add 5/8 drywall. Perfect fit for our outdoor firepit. Wish it was an inch longer for my use.
Love the nickel finish.
Cons
There was nothing in the amazon box. Not a very good product.

The nut it engages on was waaaaaaay down the hole i assume on the other side of the wall on the outside of the house

It does not work on the older dante wall plate

I searched high and low to find a key for my older dante valve and wall plate and even called dante to find out why the tip of the key would not fit into the old wall plate opening but to no avail

That key was striped and rendered the fireplace unusable
