Pros

It seals perfectly. Easy to close to fill sink with soapy water. There is also a nifty twist function to the genie to seal the drain holes. In my sink it doesn't hold water well - it slowly drains - but i rarely need that so this is perfect for me.

Scraper is great for scooping food into the disposal. No more silverware ruining the disposal or plastic spoons jamming the motor.

Cons

Very disappointed with this product unfortunately. The exciting extra feature is useless to me.

The new design has a major flaw. The rubber stopper ring is too large to seat in our waste king's drain fitting.

It allows the water to seep out during the time that you're washing the dishes. All this does is delay the water draining for a little while. It's slippery, rounded and hard to grab when you want to take it out.
