Pros
These are really durable and have thick padding that lessen the impact of vigorous dancing. Highly recommend for current and future arcade dancers. I'm a casual ddr player, playing about 5 -/+ hours a week and for what i need this pad does the trick.
The foam cushion really helps when playing barefooted on a hard floor. The only downside is that i have had a couple of issues with sensitivity of the arrows, but readjusting the top layer has solved most of that.
Cons
Even at a low price, the ddr game stuff is too * to bother with. The pad slides on the tile and rug very easily, making it hard to play the game. Without red octane, the dance pads are disappointing.
There was no controller, just a piece of foam. I am not willing to risk getting another broken pad, if i have to pay out of pocket for shipping back a item that is completely useless.

Its really durable and the cord is quite long giving you flexibility on where you place the mat
The arrows are much more sensitive and with the foam insert you dont have a feeling of sinking into the mat at all

I was a little weary of this product when i first saw it simply because it was so cheap
