Im not saying this is magic for a smoke smell but rather the humidity was probably exacerbating the problem and this stopped it

I keep another one in the bathroom part of the room its a really weird set up toilet and shower in one half vanity and closet in the other half because well i cant stand the sound of the fan

I put a humidity monitor in the closet and it was under 49 so this could be why it has not collected water yet

Placed in my closet and it got rid of moisture its like it did what it said which was pretty cool

No it did not clean the area not designed for that but kept the moisture at bay while the area dried out
