I am using it with a 25lbs bow and it is thick enough to protect my fingers without taking off all feeling of the string
I am however using a 30lbs bow
I dont know of the protection would be enough for a bow of 50lbs or more

These types of shooting gloves should not be tight when your hand is loose only when you close your fist should the glove tighten on the back of your hand for prime shooting accuracy its not misssized
