Highlights
Quality
In closing this was a purchase that im 100 pleased with
The sound quality and clarity is fantastic
Build quality is very good although they are not glamorous
But ultimately for me it is strictly about the quality of sound reproduced according to my ears
Price
Price is a bit steep but worth it so far
The three speakers together cost me about 1000 at my time of purchase and are worth every penny
Competitiveness
Used a smsl amp with these and they sounded great until the amp died
I feed them along with center with an emotiva 3 channel amp providing a whopping 300 watts available per speaker
They are a serious competitor to kef q300 and monitor audio bronze bx2
Usually brandname speakers im familiar with those sold in bigbox stores and others available online

Using tone controls to adjust the bass way up on these will absolutely ruin the midrange at higher volumes because of driver over excursion the inherent distortion introduced from tthe tone control and overworking the amp bookshelves actually take more power to achieve a loud volume than a floorstander so your are already working your amp a bit more too much bass boost will quickly drain the caps in a cheap av reciever

A higher quality amp probably will not drive these speakers any louder most amps could drive these to a very high volume nor will it increase the instantly apparent detail
