Pros

The boards are thicker than the previous boards i've used. This one is thicker than most and is great. Truly remarkably impervious to repeated cutting. My rotary cutter glides effortlessly on the surface.

I love that it has inches on one side and centimeters on the other. They also have grid lines on both sides. It's perfect for the classroom.

Cons

It is 35x23 which is not of any use when dealing with yardage. The mat is actually 35 x 23, not 36 x 23. The smell is totally nauseating.

Base continues to become 'disconnected' from the top. Returned it back. I rolled the dice based on other positive reviews.
