Delivery first things first the product arrived in a notquitewellpacked box and when i opened it it turned out that one of the metal parts was bent making it hard to fit in the wings on the side that block the window

Also every time the condenser kicked on it made a scraping noise like the bumper of a lincoln continental dragging over the crest of a steep driveway

It cools the room down okay but not to freezing cold and so far the filter hasnt gone all iceberg

It also is energy star compliant which the amana was not and we have the electricity bills to prove it

Luckily you can switch to fahrenheit by pushing the temp up and temp down buttons at the same time

Its fairly quiet the price was decent it cools okay

While the unit itself is great and works exactly what i need it for the instructions were terrible
