Pros

D-link's router is an unassuming looking device. Installation was easy -- however, as an it geek, i'm pretty used to doing this sort of thing. The app is very easy to use and installation is a snap. The only other issue is with streaming.

As you distance yourself from the router you will hope to get around 100-200mbit so that your internet speeds don't dwindle. Ghz range is particularly good, too. This is a significant leap from my old router as it has way more horsepower top to bottom... Read More

The dir-2640 comes in a slick retail box. The wps feature is very convenient. Easy to link my wi-fi extender upstairs & the printer.

Cons

The interface/firmware is extremely slow and non responsive and keep getting stuck which required a reboot. It is difficult to justify spending this amount of money for something that will get thrown away withing 3 months. Limited warranty is 1 year.

Not worth the money or the hassle. Not really even a thought of a competition.

Thumbs down to d-link for ruining their reputation with a bad product. Dlink really needs to improve their qa, as this router costs too much money to be performing badly. Worst part of all d-link is that you wasted a lot of my time.

Easy set up with advanced features should you want to employ them

This is a significant leap from my old router as it has way more horsepower top to bottom with the new wifi 6 capability

It even has cloud support to the router to accept voice commands however i find the functionality for it to be rather buggy and cumbersome

I had bought and received the same router a week prior and it worked just fine

I sent the first router back and a new was sent to me no questions asked

I had to call my isp to 34reset34 ping the router to obtain internet service

Looks cool and helped fix our spotty wifi

Dont be afraid of a brand that is not as prolific as the others

The range so far is acceptable but nothing special when compared to my previous d link routers in the past

I found the router to be excellent but the company falls short on tech support
