I upgraded both and am very happy with the signal strength and speed i now get even outside of my house and in the garage
It actually took quite a few minutes for the 5ghz to appear even though it showed in the web admin window it was not broadcasting
It is also super easy to set up with the dlink app no extra subscription was required for the mcafee protection as well
I was surprised with the ease of setup

Great coverage and signal strength compared to my old dlink and can be set up with mesh if necessary
That was until today 2 months to the day my 5ghz network is gone and the interface shows no indication it ever had a 5ghz network
All in all under 100 for a ac2600 router that works well is not bad
Upgraded from a tplink router my home wifi improved a lot with this one

The dlink app made setup really easy and the ability to check the speed between the modem and network itself is very helpful
