It's as easy as downloading an app and plugging it into the wall. It has 2 options to setup, one easy and one more aimed at people with more technical knowledge.
D-link ac1900 extender does what it's designed to do pretty well. Thankfully, this range extender supports ethernet backhaul. It works great and i'm thrilled to have it. Thankfully. Excellent product for a terrific price.
Cons
The business address is some random dude in hickory hills, illinois. If anybody can hunt this man down, it’s the man that survived the d-link.

This product greatly improved my wifi reception in my basement
Undeterred by this but resistant to changing the name of my network i decided to try and connect using the wps function

The router does fine mostly dual band ac gets to the majority of the house but my master bedroom at the very end of the home and furthest from the router is spotty

No having to change wifi at least with my ipads or iphones

Where i currently have my extender placed i can get “two green bars” on the extender but not the full three bars

It’s working fine however and i can stream movies turn onoff lights view my cameras and use my ipad and iphone in my bedroom without buffering at least at this point
