Pros
Speed is 520/520. Above average range, small size. Lts uses a 5. Laptop now feels noticeably faster.
Works great for upgrading older laptops to the new technnology encryption used in many locations now. Works flawlessly for me and i'm more than happy with the purchase.
Cons
D-link dwa-181 works well in every category, except that it disconnects from the wifi signal every minute or two. After couple months of use, it keeps getting disconnected and i have to stop what i'm doing to reconnect every few minutes.

Everything that i need at a great price
Now i dont know if i could have come up with a workaround or not but i decided to oneday this from amazon for the 22 dollar asking price
20 to fix the problem was more than worth it
Competitiveness
I recommend using dlinks own drivers off their website as the dongle performs better than with microsofts drivers
Really glad i didnt buy some cheaper alternative

If you allow windows to recognize and install the driver for you it installs the wrong version
