This dance pad is a great way to get that arcade feel without spending hundreds. The only thing i don't really like about this is there will still be a time where an arrow will not register.

Rubber carpet runner does wonders for pad slippage. It slips some on my hardwood floor, so i add some removable tape to the edges which seems to work fine.

The joints are straight, with the older ones are angled intensely.

Cons

The package says box it arrives in could be defective because they try to inspect it before sending. They aren't even as durable as the old ps2 soft pads that i played ddr on back in the day.

I am really impressed with the firmness of the cushion it is not squishy at all but still easy on feet with just socks

Here are my experiences with the padi normally play on carpet flooring

I will return here if i experience any issues with the durability but so far they have been excellent

Shipping

Initially they were pretty good but at some point recently they started shipping with a different glue that holds the raised arrow inserts

Edit3 replacement pad came in today kudos to dpm the turnaround time was insanely fast and it was hasslefree

Competitiveness

But for the kind of price youd find this compared to a metal pad theres no competition
