Quality
They’re maybe slightly pricier than what i normally spend on strings but the quality is there
Everyone knows them and everyone rewpects them as quality items and this set is no different
I am using them on a fylde acoustic guitar and i love the weight and balance of them and the quality of the sound they make
Im expecting they will work well with the rosewood back and sides
Packaging/appearance
Packaging is superb and you can keep any unused strings safe
The packaging was nice too an added bonus
Theres not much more i can say apart from the fact theyre everything i wanted and more

I can only agree with other reviewers when they say there’s no point in skimping on cheap strings – they don’t sound as good and they don’t last as long so it’s a false economy

First thing i look for is a brand or string set with a focused coherent note from the first and second strings and 3rd if im using plains then

If you currently use elixirs 8220s and are totally happy with their bright ringing tone then currently i would say stick with them

These are very nice to tune coated for quality and endurance and built to last and really nice and easy to play theyre five star strings for a pretty good price and if your looking at very cheap strings in comparison then 9 times out of 10 its a false economy if you have to end up replacing those strings more often due to breakages
