Pros

Tried them based on some yt reviews. The feel is fine. There are some sweet overtones or harmonics as well as good sustain of the notes. The other 5 are fine.

The d,addario strings hold their brightness for a long time, so why change to new when old is still bright, strong and smooth to the touch. After stringing and two rounds of stretching and retuning ( the usual for me) they stay tuned pretty well right... Read More

These are fine strings, either the pb for warmer tone or the 80/20's which are a bit brighter. Strung on a fender f15 and a martin d-16r. I prefer the sound of the martins over elixir.

Last a long time stable stay in tune sound great and quality is there so you dont have to worry about breaking a string

They are made to be very smooth feeling and resonate clean bright but not banjo twang bright sound

None of the strings like the e string broke when installing and tuning the guitar

Also cheaper than piano wire and just as sturdy keep an extra set in your gig bag in case you need to garrote someone

Initially the sound seemed a little 34tinny34 but they settled in quickly

Like new packaging but the new price not so much

I cant remember where i got these strings but found their black package in my stack of new strings

Put on my ibanez and the sound is way better than any others ive tried

To my ear they sound brighter than the other coated string brand
