While it's advertised as made for ukulele, it's a chromatic tuner that will tune anything with a sound hole. My complaint is that, while its fast and accurate, it is very hard to use. Will be sending it back.

I took the little clip off the top of the unit and bent it up so it touches the top of the tuner

Yes as people have mentioned you have to put your thumb between the a string and the sound hole but its never distorted the tuning

Its always just a glance down at the sound hole
