Pros & Cons
Pros
If you're looking for a tuner that will work in a noisy environment, but you’re not looking for absolute perfection, this is the one. Can be positioned on the guitar in an endless amount of ways. Super value imo.
I love how small and compact it is. Can easily carry it in my pocket. Holds well to the headstock, no problem reading it. Many angles to position it as needed.
Simple to use and replaces tuning from a free standing tuner. Quick tuning on the fly is a great ability to have when your playing.
Cons
The screen has an odd looking display. The blinking box around the note letter is unintuitive and aggravating. The battery door keeps falling off. After a few minutes of trying to get to work, it was promptly filed in the trash.
The clip-on tuner is very inaccurate and the readout is all over the place. The tuning indication jumps around so much that it's very difficult to know when you're actually in tune. The readability is almost nonexistent except in just-right lighting.
The screen just flashes/blinks constantly, and then shuts off again. Secondly - try seeing it outside in the daylight - useless, totally useless.

So i sent them back and tried these and the fender ft1

Which makes sense right because the tuner reacts to headstock vibration and fretting a note is going to limit that severely

However when i tried the daddario it actually did pick up fretted notes and very quickly and very accurately when tested against a boss tu3 chromatic tuner

Bottom line dont waste your money on cheap tuners for bass spend the extra and get the daddario eclipse
