D 'addario's coil is consistent, and doesn't really tug that much on me as i play. I love that the coiling means the cable isn't in my way and getting tangled up when i play, whether sitting down or on stage. This is the first coil we've used.

Came scuffed up with black marks. Exchanged for another that was scuffs up even worse. Only lasted 6 months.
