Pros
The cygolite hotshot pro 80 clips in and out securely and easily. The light has a square piece that slides into a holder; this has the square holder for the light.
Nice for attaching cygolite to rear bike rack. Works well and attaching is safe. This is on a new topeak explorer rack, the built in bracket is a perfect match for this mount. Is a universal mount for bicycle racks similar to mine.
Cons
Mount fits securely on my rack, but the light doesn't fit securely in the mount so it rattles every time i go over the bump.

I still give the product 5 stars because of the quality and because its pretty normal to have to modify bike parts
The included mounts with the pro 200 were not adaptive enough so i had to go with this mount
The mounts you get with the hotshot or most other tail lights arent suited to mount on a rack
My main concern with the plastic is the outer side of the nut
Price
I dont begrudge paying the price i did for it

While i dont like to rate reviews on shipping i must say that this item came 2 days before the expected time

I wish the clip on the back of the cygolite itself were built as sturdy as this mount
I will say however that once you have the locknuts sufficiently tightened it feels pretty bomb proof

The light itself is nice bright and seems well made the problem is i got this to install on my rear rack to the flat bracket the light comes with a rubber strap like most now days but there is a slide mount when you remove the strap so we got adapters for mounting this there slide mount is just to small and just goes through the adapters and falls out

Out of three adapters this fits none of them its just too small it just does not work the company didnt do their research it seems

If you cant attach the light to a rack its useless so its going on the pile of the other useless rear lights on the work table

I have a bag on my bike rack and had previously put my rearfacing red flashing cygolight on a bag loop but it did not point straight back
