Pros

They are loose enough, but not too baggy (i hate super baggy shorts on the bike). These shorts are awesome. They are bit baggy compared to other mtb shorts i own (pearl izumi, 100%) but they are half the price of those.

Quality is decent.

Velcro * each side to snug them up if necessary. Good quality zipper and very convenient pockets. They seem durabile but time is the best way to tell that.

The waist is elastic so even a little fluctuation in size would be acceptable. Fits true to size with plenty of adjustability to dial them.

Not the greatest quality but very stretchy and breathable. This style is a bit heavier material with a more dressy look almost.

Cons

The shorts hang poorly on my b**t and look just as miserably. The * gets caught on the saddle because it hangs too low.
