Yes if you hold the material up to a light source you will be able to see through the material but when its worn it is not seethrough

My only complaint might be that i dont like the feel of the zipper all the way up but thats my preference it is not necessary to zip it to any particularly level

There is a soft pleat in the back so it is loose fitting
