At creases it is easy to get a crooked cut

The straight cut requires a low profile straight edge because the blade button sticks out pretty far and goes down close to the mat

I used a higher straight edge on the beveled cut than i did on the straight cut

If you need to cut more pin it down again dont attempt freehand small cuts
