They will get hot though so be sure to securely mount to metal using some self tappers or bolts not tapeglue

Tried using to install led 3rd brake light as shown on youtube and didnt fix issue so cant really say

I used this item for led turn signal that i installed on a rav4 without it it will hyper flash but with it the turn signal will operate normally whichever the timing of the vehicles flash when activated and theres no orientation or polarity so it can be tap in to the existing wiring either way some of the instructions for 3 wires it recommends to install 2 but if you can just identify the wires that is for the flasher you can do qith one the rear turn signal only have 2 wires but the front has 3 usually the 2 that nees this device is the 2 that are close to its other vertically if its on a triangle configuration or you can call them wires 1 and 3 if it is in line the one in the middle should be ignore
