Pros

The modes are a cool gimmick. Good control to go to different modes.

The brightness of the lights seems more than adequate for my tank. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye above my 10g planted freshwater tank. The light fit perfectly on the glass hood we purchased.

Cons

I foresee this being a continual problem and if i was not past the amazon 30-day return policy i would change to a new product. The warranty on lasts for 3 months. That's how i know it’s the non working adapter that don’t work.

The wiring on the remote is frayed and ripped off in the first two months. With the ramp timer it's horrible.

This light is only 800 lumen. I have freshwater clown loaches and they don't really like bright lighting.

Overall i think for the price it is a very good value

I dont see any reason to spend more for a comparable or 34better34 light

Would like if the remote was cordless but i think the more expensive models have that option
