Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to use and soaked in even in freezing conditions. Has very little odour, soaks in to the wood and dries quickly. Not cheap but is quality stuff.
Used this for some decking. Easily applied with brush, soaks into wood very quickly. Seems to darken the colour of bare wood but doesn't appear to affect the final colour after staining.
Cons
They use a picture of a 5 litre tin but it turns out to be a 1litre tin. The illustration looks like a full size 5l can and the headline description does not give the volume. It's identical apart from having no hazard warning symbol.

It was suggested to comment on water resistance and durability but it is difficult to assess these properties when it was only applied a couple of days ago

You cannot use straight from tin so have to pour into another receptacle as there is no lip on the can so some is wasted
