The gate is easy to open and close. It closes on its own. Putting plastic around the opening, like one reviewer did, is a smart move.

The gate is sturdy and my 15 year old grandson had no problem installing it. It's sturdy enough to keep my two shepard’s from pushing through. Would buy again.

The latch completely frustrated my houdini dog from trickery or brute force to get through the gate

Then the hinge end started to get stuck where you couldnt open the gate by pulling on the sude of the safety latch
