Pros

Cullighan has just 2 different housings where with the bigger filter u can downgrade or upgrade your filtering quality as u like with just switching the cartridge. This is the third rfc-bbsa filter i’ve installed in our whole house filter.

Got this on my subscription so it's sent automatically every 6 months. Too bad not available as a 2 or 3 pack with a bulk savings. Thank you amazon for making life easier!

Cons

Culligan changed the style and downgraded the workmanship. Put together in a hurry with no quality control. This is junk!

When it's plugged the pressure drops. And was actually dissolving at that point. I'm a bit confused as to how it clogged up faster when there was no increase in water usage, especially when most of the paper remains white.

Price

Highly recommended at the price i paid for it in early 2021

If the price goes higher i may reconsider my recommendation and go look elsewhere but for now

I installed this bad boy in midnovember after noticing small black grains of sand coming out of the faucet

Im on a well and have this installed after my media filters such as a water softner

I recommend these as a low up front cost solution
