Pros

Fit my frigidaire refrigerator perfectly. Instead of a straight tube with the inlet at one end, this filters inlet is the entire broadside of the tube. Run the water for a little while, to flush all the debris.

I am so amazed that something of this price performs so great. Cheaper than home depot and lowe's. One step up.

The only issue i have with it, is it really restricts the flow of water. If you make sure they are pressed firmly to the end, then they work just fine.

Cons

The filter adds a chemical taste and smell to our water, something like iodine. It has an odor to it and red rusty color. The filter system needs to be securely mounted to a wall fixture.

This cartrage must be defective, there's nothing wrong with the plumbing in the rv. But is slows the flow down so drastically that it takes nearly 2 minutes to fill a gallon jug. When installed, it reduces flow to a slow trickle.
