I expect it will perform as well/as long - if quality has fallen, i'll update my review. No complaints. Very pleased.
The oxo comes with the typical bulbous, black plastic handle that's supposed to make it more ergonomic. The handle is nice an sturdy and seems well balanced when whisking.
Cons

Ive had this whisk for at least 1012 years and its literally taken that long for the silicone coating on the wires to start breaking down

After reading reviews of the toprated silicone whisks on here by oxo ouddy and cuisinart and seeing complaint after complaint about them breaking after 13 uses and photo after photo of silicone coatings falling apart within 13 uses i thought well hell ive had mine for over 10 years and its just starting to break down

And so i checked hoping upon hope that there was some indicator of the brand on that longago purchased musthave for my kitchen and thank goodness the cuisipro logo was still there

Eventually some of the coating on the wires broke

For this whisk you can see build up under the silicone wire coating which looks nasty but its not like it will get in contact with your food
