It's not only excellent quality, it is beautiful and elegantly made. There were no scratches or dings as advertised, just missing parts. Made from a strong nicely polished metal.
If you want a classy looking stovetop espresso maker, this is it! The pot is make of very heavy stainless steel that doesn't warp at bottom or top.
This item is admittedly pricier than other moka makers. It takes a while to get used to a new brand, model or style.

The inside of the bottom water chamber is not polished. It is too hot to clean soon after making the coffee, and while it is cooling, the remaining water inside the chamber settled, causing it to rust. The coffee from the roma is so weak it's more aki... Read More
Not expresso like. Not sure this is defect or counterfeit. Cuisinox refuses to have any dealings with any business partners that do not abide by these standards.

After reviewing the bialetti’s the grand daddy of moka pots and seeing the poor quality in their pots i started looking at moka pots by other manufacturers and found this cuisinox and thought i’d give it a try

Well they do but the reviews are horrible and these pots are not made by cuisinox
