The only shortcoming on the design of this saucepan is that it does not have a notch or indentation, so when pouring from it, the liquid spills around and under.

For this 10” pan measure 1/3 cup of batter onto the center of the pan and promptly tilt the pan in a circular motion to distribute the batter out to the edges.
