It has a nice flat thick base which sits solidly on the cooktop surface. Nothing sticks and clean up is much faster than non-stick cookware. Elle se lave très bien.

They are just flat steel rather than a forged 3d shape

What surprised me was how hot the lid handle gets when simmering something in the pan for awhile not in the oven but on the cooktop

The lids handle is not as nice not the same complex shape as the main handle on the pan

It does not sit comfortably in the fingers grasp but other 12 inch diameter lids should fit

I have one from a 35 kirkland pan that is better than this one and will use it instead
