I purchased this remote to use with a vr headset that didnt have any way of interacting with the phone like other google cardboard products

Initially i was pretty disappointed with this item because i couldnt get it to work properly with the phone

Game mode was similarly unhelpful in being able to click to recenter the screen during a youtube video or select things

However after a lot of digging online i found out that theres actually a second key mode which the instructions that come with this remote dont explain that you have to boot into by holding x and start from a powered off state

Overall this is a decent product thats extremely useful if you have a headset that doesnt normally allow you to interact with the phone in a similar way to the cardboard ones that use magnets or the capacitive switch

I cant really comment much about its usefulness in games because thats not what i bought it for
