Ctk vise is sturdy enough but not to heavy to throw in the truck with my withered biceps. I like steel which is why i went with the ctk instead of the tipton plastic garbage. Holds gun still and steady.

The customer care and service at ctk precision is awsome. It's also very versatile. The only reservation i have is the function and usability of the actual vise component.

Overall great, a couple minor oversight though. I own this and my only regret is not buying it earlier. Don't hesitate get this vise.

Ctk precision has a video on you tube showing the assembly which is very helpful. There is a useful on-line u-tube assembly video noted in the instructions. Some complain of the lack of detailed instructions. Read the instructions and take your time.

All you need is two adjustable wrenches, and philips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. it is actually required a couple of wrench to tighten the nuts with the bolt.
