Checking my pulse manualy has shown the readings to be accurate in the sub 100 bpm area and the higher level readings appear to be believable but its difficult to check those manually while maintaining a constant rate

I have an icd fitted in my chest which logs my actual heart rate using wires screwed into the wall of my heart a couple of weeks ago it had to give me a 600v shock when my heart rate got up to 189 bpm and was in danger of failing the fitbit only recorded 150 bmp at the time so even if it had an upper limit alarm it probably wouldnt have helped

It was brilliant for two weeksall of a sudden its stopped working ive tried replacing the batteries in both watch and chest strap and its gone dud
