    Works incredibly well for converting av out from my nes and my modded atari 2600, the image is stretched to fit but setting the lcd panel to 4:3 gets around that if you don't like the stretched image.

    My only complaint is the use of usb to power the box; if the vhs player is powered off for an extended period, it stops drawing power from the usb and requires you to disconnect and reconnect the cable.

    All you have to do is make sure your source is turned on prior to switching to the hdmi input that the device is connected to.

    Bought this to use a vcr i managed to get a hold of, which did not work with my tv.

    As it turned out, newer tv's do not have the original av connections that a vcr requires.
