You do not get a super fast charge but it will turn on a dead phone

The carrying pouch is pretty silly though it is completely light proof and you cannot charge the battery while carrying it in there

The silly part is that maybe it was meant to charge the battery but it ends up being backwards and unable to fold over the solar panel without assistance
