Pros

The gel pad is placed over the underarm pad that comes with the crutches. It makes the padding a little thicker. The company logo ad is prominent but if you can overlook it, the gel pads made a huge difference.

The fabric on top is some type of nylon that glides over your clothing. The gel is super cushiony. Padding on the sides protects my ribs and the top protects the armpits.

Cons

Company says the item is no longer returnable or refundable. Unintentional overheating or forgetting something in the oven can also lead to burning, smoke and in some instances fire. Thin gel pad -- not much there to cushion.
