Pros & Cons
Pros
Two gallons is more than enough to repair my chimney crown and the two shoulders. It really does protect the brick around it so the mortar doesn't break down. Used at home and got another for the cottage.
Cons
Did not go on easy or even. Hard to apply.
Highlights
Quality
I am a jack of all trades and and very pleased with the results
I did need to use a bit of water to help with the troweling and i used the full two gallons to completely cover the original crown
Also my crown was very small so i only used about 13 of the product
The only fault i found with the product was that it was difficult to smooth out
Competitiveness
Used wire brush to clean up 2x6 cap
