Pros

It never breaks a sweat while running the maggies at agressive sound levels. Makes no noise and gets the job done. Blue power light is ridiculously bright, but i'll live.

The lightweight xls series sounds night and day better than the xli series with music/movies. Driving ls12s from cerwin vega.

This thing is spectacular for the price.

It's better to clean the ground anyway, not just for safety reasons, but for digital connections too. It has rca unbalanced inputs and switchable input sensitivity. In stereo mode the stereo input can be converted to mono.


Cons

Xli 800 puts out 200 watt rms, they say its 200 watts peak! This thing only puts out 1/2 the sound my 100 watt amp puts out. Snare drums have no crack - the presence is woefully lacking and it is as though everything is five feet behind the speakers.
