Pros
No other brand of brisling sardines come close to the flavor and perfect size for fitting on a *. Pretty good, but not up to the highest standards of two-layered sardines.
The two layers is always part of crown prince nostalgia. When finished with the first layer there is another tantalizing second. Very consistent quality. Pack size and texture is uniform.
The flavor is phenomenal. They are nicely seasoned and the taste is outstanding! Each tin is in a cardboard box like they are at the store.
Cons
The crown prince brisling sardine is pure filth. After emailing customer service, amazon says the sardines are caught in the atlantic ocean.
In one word, ew. Spent the extra expecting quality. My problem isn't with the product or shipping.

They taste fine and were wellpacked each tin is in a cardboard box like they are at the store the 12 are in a tightly packed cardboard box together and that is in another larger cardboard box

My last case of the tan box and red box tasted a bit different but i cant say for sure if it was a batchtobatch variation or if it was intentional by crown prince

Edit feb 2018 bought this item again and it no longer claims bpa free on the label top right corner of the front now has a non gmo project verified label but now reads on one side panel warning contains chemicals known to california to cause birth defects reproductive harm
