Pros

The crown burnisher is a great tool for sharpening a card scraper. I like scraping much better than sanding and this burnisher works perfect to keep a nice bur on the scrapers. Makes sharpening cards pretty easy.

The crown burnisher has a comfortable handle and works very well. The steel is hard and smooth over the entire length. Just a steel rod, but a nice steel rod with a handle for my scrapers.

This simply feels better than my old drill bit shank. This is one of the few tools you can afford to spare-expense on without compromising performance.

Cons

Besides the lack of hardness, the finish is not smooth. This ruins all effort made when honing the scraper.
