The rifle seems well built. Just mounted a scope on it,time for backyard tomorrow. For the price it's well worth it. Good entry level air rifle.

The vantage is well constructed. The barrel and hinge seem pretty solid. Machining, fit and finish are top notch.

This is my first breakbarrel pellet gun and im very impressed with the crosman vantage

With the perp sight its a squirrels nemesis

If you want an inexpensive high quality nitro gas break barrel that feels like something two to three times the price i recommend it

Packaging/appearance

The sites were perfect out of the box

The rifle was nearly dead on accurate without much adjustment right out of the box

A thick glove is recommended because you have to give it a good whack with your hand to initially open the breech

Competitiveness

The cheaper hn excite pellets have also been working well with this gun

Mounted a utg hunter 3x9x40 scope and this rifle is deadly
