Pros

Perfect for keeping records near the turntables for a set when mixing. Overall it does the job.

Easy to assemble with a phillips head screwdriver. You have to assemble the sides but that's easy. Note* there are no handles.

The color matches our decor perfectly. A bit more upscale than using an old milk crate. I really like the way others have stained theirs.

Cons

The wood is flimsy, almost balsa wood. It feels like balsa, creaking with every turn of the screw.

Not a very high quality wood either many gaps between layers causing de-lamination, unfinished splintering edges. It is not sanded, lots of splinters and rough spots. And there was some sort of moldy substance and dust all over it.

This product is paper thin, poorly constructed, and if i could give them negative grades, i would! They work but are poorly made. Crossley needs to check in with their chinese manufacturers.

A fun way to keep my albums organized they are sturdy and i like the rustic look

Easy assembly took a star off because the predrilled holes on one side of mine were offcenter but that was an easy fix

Took 15 mins to put together and feels strong doesnt seem like itll break

Decent record storage will work well if not moved around a lot

I can find them readily at a fair price

This item arrived at the pick up spot and was picked up on time

This last time it came with the shipping label right on the actual crate box

Packaging/appearance

I gave the crate 4 stars rather than 5 because of the packaging

The box was so wet from the weather the crate materials inside the box were wet

Came with 2 extra screws just in case but i didnt need them

Normally there is a box over the crate box

We made the mistake of buying another brand that was poorly mfg and didnt have correct holes
