The plug is uk type but it can either be changed to users region or can be conveniently used with an adapter

Everything that when into the cooker was heated before adding tomatoesonions etc its no biggy to do this and as the cooker cant seal or brown its a must

I left the control on high for a further 20 mins then turned to low and popped out to shops on my return the kitchen smelt devine of chilli cooked to perfection

I purposely didnt get the model with the hinged lid as it struck me that it might make it more of a nuisance to wash it up
