One did not turn on right out of the package but after fiddling with the batteries a little it worked
The batteries that come with the hooks will die out pretty quickly so buy the extra batteries with them

The battery lid and light switch are not in my way

It is cheaper to buy the hook and store the three batteries in minizip bags until needed so that the flat sides do not touch
